I created this piece after visiting Edinburgh during the Fringe Comedy Festival. I found Edinburgh to be an engaging mixture of the modern and historical, the intimate and the grand. I layered iconic landmarks such as the Edinburgh Monument and the skyline of the castle with the everyday elements of the terraced houses and railings in order to capture the overall ethos of the city.
